Brightline Offers New Transportation Alternative in South Florida

Soon we should be hearing, all aboard! Brightline trains our newest exciting high speed rail road connecting Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and Orlando along a 235-mile route has begun construction. Each car train having space for 240 passengers. Brightline is promoting a fun Florida atmosphere by displaying bright colors such as red, orange, green, blue or pink with a yellow locomotive leading the train. The stretch from Miami to Orlando will take approximately three hours, offering safe, affordable clean travel in the state of Florida. The train can travel up to 125 mph.

The train stations will have connecting urban centers that developers hope will become dining and shopping destinations. A station in Orlando will be next to Orlando's International Airport. The 4-car train is scheduled by next summer to begin service, and offering its train size to double by 2018. Many Floridians have traveled and experienced the high-speed service found in Europe and Asia. They look forward to this service in the sunshine state.

The amenities aboard the train include; custom-designed seats, smartly-designed bathrooms, large windows, free Wi-Fi, multiple power outlets will be available at every seat, bike storage, and luggage storage. Riders will be serviced with reserved seating will be in various configurations, including single seats and tables for groups of four. Various food and beverage options will be available both at the stations and on the train, including grab-and-go meals. The service will be pet-friendly, allowing travel with dogs and cats.
